La XXIII Bienal de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de Chile, DOBLE EXPOSICIÓN: (re)programar, (re)adaptar, (re)construir, tuvo su presentación en el Centro de Creación y Residencia Artística NAVE, un espacio que encarna la idea de reconversión arquitectónica. El encuentro reunió a autoridades del Colegio de Arquitectos de Chile, el Ministerio de las Culturas, las Artes y el Patrimonio, el Ministerio de Vivienda y Urbanismo, el Ministerio de Obras Públicas y el Gobierno Regional, junto a escuelas de arquitectura, equipos participantes, empresas y profesionales de esta edición. Durante la jornada se dieron a conocer los ejes curatoriales, el programa general, las sedes y las principales actividades que marcarán la Bienal, que se desarrollará en Santiago entre el 25 de septiembre y el 5 de octubre de 2025. El evento concluyó con la conferencia inaugural del arquitecto español Arturo Franco, quien reflexionó sobre la urgencia de trabajar sobre lo existente como materia activa del proyecto arquitectónico.
The 23rd Chilean Architecture and Urbanism Biennial, DOUBLE EXPOSURE: (re)program, (re)adapt, (re)estructure, was presented at the NAVE Center for Creation and Artistic Residency, a space that embodies the idea of architectural reconversion. The meeting brought together authorities from the Chilean College of Architects, the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage, the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism, the Ministry of Public Works, and the Regional Government, along with architecture schools, participating teams, companies, and professionals from this edition. During the event, the curatorial axes, general program, venues, and main activities that will mark the Biennial, which will take place in Santiago between September 25 and October 5, 2025, were announced. The event concluded with the opening lecture by Spanish architect Arturo Franco, who reflected on the urgency of working with the existing as the active material of the architectural project.
