El curso Historiografía de la Arquitectura Moderna plantea el estudio de las distintas versiones que se han dado de la Historia de la Arquitectura Moderna a lo largo del siglo XX. Se estudian entonces los autores más influyentes que han contribuido a crear esta historia, analizando su relación con el momento histórico en el cual produjeron sus textos y revisando los supuestos metodológicos y teóricos que los inspiraron. Se considera también la relación de la historia de la arquitectura con las otras disciplinas históricas, principalmente con la historia del arte. En última instancia, se estudia como se fue construyendo históricamente la idea de arquitectura moderna.

The course Historiography of Modern Architecture considers the study of the different versions that have been given of the History of Modern Architecture throughout the 20th century. We study then the most influential authors who have contributed to create this history, analyzing their relationship with the historical moment in which they produced their texts and reviewing the methodological and theoretical assumptions that inspired them. The relationship of the history of architecture with other historical disciplines is also considered, mainly with the history of art. Ultimately, it is studied how the idea of modern architecture was historically constructed.
